Offered today from my personal collection of antique photography is a very rare humorous Cabinet Card photo of two old buddies horsing around in the late 1800`s! One is seated in wheelbarrow and his pal is giving him a ride! How neat is that!! Both wear vests & straw hats and both have pipes. The man in wheelbarrow is holding his pipe and sports a nice bushy moustache, while his buddy has his pipe in his mouth and is clean shaven. Being an outdoor shot also makes this a rare photo, so don`t miss out! This Cabinet Card photo was shot horizontally also due to subject matter & you do not see this that often which increases the rarity! Photo is very sharp with good details and in great condition for being so old with just the usual handling wear & soiling. Photo studio info on right side of front & on back as shown & this is a New York Studio. The corners are chipped on three sides & some sun fading is evident! Estimated age is post civil war period c.1880-90. This would be a wonderful addition to any collection of antique photography.
