On Hold Vintage Huge Atomic Age Mid-Century Modern Art Pottery Ashtray Ash Tray Retro Gold Sparkle Unique

This big Atomic Age art pottery ashtray features an abstract elliptical shape and allover gold spattering on a white background. I believe it dates from the 1950s. It has the letters A S impressed on the bottom.

It measures approximately 10 inches long, 7 1/2 inches wide, and goes from about 1 1/2 inches high in the middle to about 3 inches high on the highest end. It is nice and solid at over 1 1/2 pounds. There is some paint wear and very light crazing to be expected in a piece of this age. There is also a shallow, tiny approximately 1/8 inch rim flake near the highest corner which is very difficult to notice. No cracks, chips, or other issues. In wonderful condition, a unique conversation piece and the perfect accent for your retro Mid- Century decor.
