This lovely antique porcelain vegetable bowl by Thompson features pink roses and green leaves with a scroll rim in blue, black and gold, and gold gilt trim on the rim. All on a creamy ivory background. It is Thompson Semivitreous Tableware and I believe it is either the Kristina or Vienna pattern, but I was unable to find a picture so I'm not sure.
It has the Thompson mark and name on the bottom. According to the Kovels' New Dictionary of Marks, the mark would date this piece to between 1916 and 1938.
It measures 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches high. There is light wear to the gilt rim and light crazing which gives character to pieces of this age. There are no chips, cracks, stains or other issues. The color is unfaded and there is a nice high glaze. I would consider this beautiful bowl to be in near-mint to mint condition.
