Yaupon holly is a favorite food of the whitetail deer. The female plants produce nice red berries in the Fall which cling to the shrub/ tree for a long time. This is a fast growing shrub or small tree. Can be pruned to keep as a shrub or hedge. Leaves are small, leathery, oval and pointed and evergreen. each order is for 5 seedlings, approx 8 inches tall or more. I cannot tell a male from a female until the plant matures and either produces berries or not. Even without berrries, it looks nice and attracts deer. The plants will be shipped by priority mail.
