This beautiful vintage porcelain mug was made in Japan and imported by Enesco. I believe it dates to the 1960s. It features a lovely delicate bouquet of flowers on the front and a smaller bouquet on the back surrounded by leaves and scrolls similar to blue onion decoration. The flowers are in shades of red, green, purple, and blue with accents of gold gilt. The rim and handle is trimmed in blue, all on a creamy white background.
The mug measures approximately 3 3/4 inches high and 4 1/2 inches wide including its handle. It holds approx. 9 ounces. It still has its original red and gold foil label on the bottom, which has the rising sum emblem and says "Enesco Imports Japan". There is a small amount of shelf wear on the bottom to be expected in a piece of this age. There are no chips, cracks, or other issues. The colors are vivid and unfaded and there is a nice high glaze. It does not look as if it has ever been used and I would consider it to be in mint condition.
