The tag lists an original price of 98.00, and it looks as if a sticky price tag has also been removed from the tag. The permanent tag in the skirt lists the brand as Banana Republic, and says the skirt is a size 4.
There is another tag sewn into the inside side seam which says: shell 90% wool, 10% nylon, lining 100% acetate, exclusive of decoration. A tag behind this one lists some numbers, among them 04/HOL, which could stand for Holiday 2004. A tag with the manufactures price tag says: ‘The distinctive raw edged hem of this textured skirt creates a unique, one-of-a-kind look.’
This skirt is extremely well made. The fabric is soft and is a nice weight of wool, and has a lot of body to it. The fabric has a weave similar to a basket type weave. The skirt is fully lined. The style skirt looks somewhat slim and fitted. The skirt has a side zipper, which is an invisible zipper, the kind that is hidden in the seam so as not to be so obvious. It has a waistband, and darts in the top front of the skirt, for shaping. There are ribbon loops on the top inside of each side of the skirt, for hanging. The length of the skirt measures approximately 22 inches long, measuring down the front of the skirt, from the top of the waistband to the hem.
The skirt is wrinkled, as can be seen in the photos, so will need to be steamed or pressed before wearing.
