Looking at the photograph on the game box, the people shown appear to be the cast from the newer Addams Family movies, rather than the cast from the old TV show.
The game is made by Pressman Toy Corporation. The copyright listed on the box is 1991.
The front of the box says: For 2 to 6 players, ages 8 to adult. The game contains the board, a paper instruction sheet, a stack of cards to be used in the game, and two plastic bags, one of which looks like it contain what looks like the player pieces.
Although this game appears to never have been played with, the cards look like they were probably seperated from a cardboard backing. There are 72 cards in all; 36 Thing cards and then 36 other cards with different characters on them.
It is possible that some of the other pieces were also seperated from their cardboard backing as well.
The paper instruction sheet is wrinkled, as can be seen in the listing photographed. It could be copied, however, to produce a wrinkle free copy.
Although both of the plastic bags are stapled shut, one containing the game pieces, and the other one containing the Thing spinner, and invitation pieces it is possible that these items were previously removed from their cardboard backing.
This game does not appear to have been played with.
Please note that the box does have wear to it, however. The box has surface wear to it, as well as some wrinkles, and pressure marks. There are some stains on the box, and there are a few areas where there are shallow gouges in the box, meaning the top surface is slightly caved in. There is a rip up one corner of the box top. The box has tape on all sides of it, as it had been taped shut.
This game would be perfect for an Addams Family fan, or to play on Halloween.
