Brown's Iron Bitters, A True Tonic. Antique Lithographed Victorian Trade Card Advertising. "A certain cure for diseases ... gives new life to the nerves." Features a woman leaning on a column, wearing a low-cut bodice and old-fashioned cap. Measures 2-7/8 by 4-1/2 inches. No text on the back side. Printed by Burrow-Giles Lith. Co., N.Y. On the back there are a couple of brown spots and an area with surface damage and thinning near the bottom of the card. Some pinpricks are visible at the top center of the card.

This item is an original card from a late-nineteenth century scrapbook. The image, printed by color lithography, is a chromolithograph, or "chromo."
