to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Queen Mother
 

The gilt rimmed lid of this box is decorated
with a full color portrait of Her Majesty at 90
surrounded by garlands of the British national floral emblems:
roses, clovers, & thistles, a blue ribbon .

Which is inscribed:

"4th august 1900 - 1990"
"To Commemorate the 90th Birthday
Of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother."

Dimensions: 3 1/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches high

The base is backstamped:

This box is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
