3512 Shell Pink Baltimore Pear Cream/Sugar Set

Up for your consideration is a pink Baltimore Pear Cream/Sugar Set that was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1957 to 1959. This set is made of a soft pink colored milk glass called Shell Pink, made to appeal to the modern housewife' as their advertisements say. Ladies remember your mom’s kitchen in pink, I do. This lovely set has the Baltimore Pear pattern - an early pressed glass pattern that Jeannette used for this set. The sugar bowl measures approx 7 inches high and 3.75 inches across from rim to rim and the creamer measures 4.50 inches high and 3 inches across from rim to rim. A wonderful little item to have as a keepsake from the 1950s. Goes perfectly with the new pink colors coming out today.
