Japanese cedar is an evergreen tree with needles that are blue/green in the growing season turning purplish bronze to brown in winter. Cones are dark brown and rounded; bark is reddish-brown and exfoliating on this native of Japan. The tree is nicely pyramidal in form with billowing, cloud-like clumps of the needles making a dense canopy.
Japanese cedar tolerates most well drained fertile soils and prefers full sun or partial shade locations. They are excellent for large-scale screening or massing. Large specimens in lawns are also a great landscape application for this species.

Because of the delicate and perishable nature of seeds, we are unable to accept returns.
Should the customer be justifiably dissatisfied with any of the seeds sent by us, he or she may send an email, stating the reasons. After checking the complaint, we will send replacement seeds or seeds of a different species.
Once the seeds are shipped, we can’t accept returns. On receipt of your order please verify the completeness and intact condition. If there are any items missing which were in the original order or if you feel that some item is not in the ,condition it should be (infestation, physical damage, disease), please contact us as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
