After it break it's dormancy In May - it will be potted in soil and will be shipped in small plastic container with soil. Leaf Description: Post oak tree leaves are 6-10 inches with 5 lobes. The two middle lobes are distinctly square. Leaves appear thick and dark green from above, lighter with scattered fur from below.
Bark Description: Post oak tree bark is ashy gray in color, initally quite scaly, becoming more blocky and ridged.
Twig Description: Twigs are gray and dotted with lenticils, buds are short blunt and orange-brown.
Flowering: Male flowers are yellow-green catkins; female are reddish and appear as spikes.
