Wisteria sinensis 'Prolific', grafted plant
One grafted plant, very well rooted.
If you order this wisteria plant during summer vegetation - please keep it in the received container till full dormancy - do not disturb the roots during active growing or while it has leaves on. Once it goes dormant - it will be safe to plant it to the destination location.

Wisteria sinensis 'Prolific'
You will receive grafted plant 6-12 inches tall, in the mailing tube or box. After it breaks it's dormancy it will be planted and sent in plastic pot with soil. Flowers will show up on second or third year depend of how you will prune them. Pruning is recommended to be conducted twice a year, first, in July, second one in January - leaving 2-3 buds only on each runner where flowers to be desired for creating the flowering spurs. Do not feed this plant with nitrogen. Nitrogen postpones flowering.
âProlificâ is noted for its prolific bloom of lilac blue flowers in spring sometimes extending into early summer. It typically flowers at an earlier age and with greater abundance than species plants. Flowers before leaves appear.
