Attention! During the winter (November to April) plant will be DORMANT, meaning there will be no above ground part of the plant, no leaves , no stem, Only roots/rhizomes in the soil.
Once you receive container with soil and roots - plant the roots directly in open ground, New shoots will start to grow in spring in correct for the plant time.
This herb native to the mountainous areas of southern China, Japan and South East Asia and is receiving a lot of recognition for its use as an anti-aging tonic and adaptogen. The tasty tea made from the stems and leaves of this herbaceous perennial vine have 4 times more ginseng-like saponins than either American or Asian Ginseng. It has been used in Chinese Medicine to delay the aging process and increase energy. Research in Japan shows that the herb has a powerful effect on numerous body systems. It has been used in Chinese medicine to maintain healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels, enhance circulation, increase energy without being over-stimulating, improve focus and memory, support a strong immune system and can increase stamina and endurance for athletes. It is recommended to plant it to the bigger container or in the open ground same day when you receive it. Cut open plastic container with sharp utility knife the way so roots are not disturbed. Place the whole root ball in dug hole. Mulch is a plus.

Plants will be packed securely in the box, preventing it from shifting inside the box, with adequate moisture in the soil or around the roots in case of bare rooted plants during the dormancy.
