It's a feminine scent possessing a blend of balsamic and citrus accords, and it's recommended particularly for evening wear. The citrus notes appear in the top notes, specifically mandarin, bergamot, and lemon, as well as a cedar note. Then, in the middle notes, there are iris, patchouli, jasmine, vetiver, and rose. Finally, the base notes really define shalimar as a product of the 20s, consisting of leather, sandalwood, vanilla, incense, tonka bean, civet, and opoponax. This scent is a real classic!
