The early W107 backrest pad (1971 to early 1973) for both the SL and SLC was slightly different from the later pads. Unfortunately the early pads are no longer available. The 1973-1985 pads can be used for the early cars but you must also use the appropriate upholstery for them. The SL models have different pads from the SLC models and the late SL models (300SL, 420SL, 500SL) also had their own pads. Headrest pads changed in 1979 while armrests stayed the same.
