For one mile, just north of Canton Ohio o n State Route 8 there is an installation of the new sodium lighting. Near Schenectady, NY a 5 mile stretch of State Road no 146 becomes a ribbon of smooth brightness under 200 of the new GE high visibility luminaries equipped with 4000 lumen Mazda lamps of the new bipost construction. Half mile stretch of heavily traveled State Route 5 between Akron and Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio is lighted with both sodium and High Visibility incandescent luminaries.
