Vulcan Hoist, Pictured is a hoist that is equipped with a 7' 0" diameter by 4' 0" face drum and is driven by a 300 HP motor. It was installed at the Powhatan Mine of the Cleveland and Western Coal Company in 1923. Old 1928 mining tools and equipment advertisement. Would look marvelous when matted and framed.
