This beautiful statue of Jesus as a Child, dressed in a pink tunic, with His arms
wide open to receive us, and His innocent and loving smile can be seen today in Bogota.
It is probably one of the dearest representations of Our Lord’s Infancy;
it invokes in us a desire to embrace Him and entrust all our cares into His loving arms.
The devotion to the Divino Niño began in Bogota Colombia with Fr. John Rizzo,
a Salesian priest from Italy, who had a great devotion to the Infant Jesus.
He designed the statue with a title: "Yo Reinare" (I will reign).
After he placed the statue in his church many miracles and prodigies began to be reported.
Every Medal comes with a 24" stainless steel chain and in a jewelry box.
