Fish print Denton striped bass from 1895 print

This is a fine Contemporary print of a Striped Bass. It is 8X10 inches. These prints are by Sherman F. Denton. I found the proof in the first edition of the reports and in the introduction it states, "colored plates were made by Mr. Sherman F. Denton of Wellesley, Mass., from living or fresh specimens." These plates are rarer and more colorful then his (Denton's) later work (New York Fisheries Reports) that you see every day on E-bay.Size: 8X10 inches.
