I bought the Birds & Flowers of the 50 States First Day Cover set when it was issued in the early 1980s. I used to collect stamps and first day covers, and bought the complete collection of these beautiful birds and flowers covers with the album issued by Fleetwood.
The first day covers are all stamped with ‘APR 14 1982” in Washington DC 20066.
The first day covers have always been stored in the album and are in mint condition as a result.
