This CountryKnits for Kids is by Stephen and Carol Huber. Complete hand knitting patterns and instructions for 25 casual sweaters inspired by American folk designs. The patterns and directions are different from those found in most knitting books. The directions are easy to follow and they show you how to substitute yarns, to make size adjustments and to make your own adaptations. The formulas are easy and can be adapted to all your other knitting projects. The patterns are colorful, casual, and comfortable. Americana at its best! Many contemporary motifs can be traced back to the 18th century quilt patterns. You'll like all of these patterns, will enjoy knitting them in a vast array of yarns, and will find that your sweaters will become a tradition, just as are the designs that inspired them.
CONDITION: The spiral bound book has staples and pages intact. No odors, stains, tears or notations detected. There are a few pages that show smug marks that come from the painted illustrations, it is not damage. (Periodically but not often there may be a name on the book or tiny notation that I may have unintentionally over looked)
