Viswa Vajra Thangka Thanka Painting Nepal Art

Add to Cart
This is a nice little original Thankgka painting from Nepal. I brought it back with me from my last trip there. Real gold paint was used 10 to 14 K. Nice detail. Not quite as sharp as my more expensive paintings but still quite nice.

Significance of the Viswa Vajra:

The Double Vajra or Viswa Vajra is believed to bring good luck to ones owner and thought to ward of Negative energies and spirits around the household. The Vajra is known as the thunderbolt which cannot be cut, cannot be destroyed but destroys all evil. When two thunderbolts are crossed they are known as a Viswa Vajra.

A small feint gold mark extends down from the gold border to small to really be seen in the pictures and hardly worth mentioning. No real other flaws noticed.

Size: 10.40" tall 10.30" wide including border ( 26.4 cm tall 26.1 cm wide ) 8.50" tall and 8.50" wide ( 21.5 cm tall 21.5 cm wide ) excluding border
