Chinese Coffee made very little splash, especially outside NY Al Pacino's home. Still, another of his labors of love along with the never released The Local Stigmatic (which we also sell on this site). Chinese Coffee is a story of friendship, betrayal, and the struggles for just one good grab at the brass ring. Great scenes of NYC especially Chinatown.
This is a movie for fans of Al Pacino, Jerry Orbach and New Yorker life. The focus is the interaction between two men, friendship, envy, betrayal. Good parts of this DVD is the commentary by Pacino as he talks about what his goal was in making this.
