PADEN CITY PEACOCK & ROSE 11" GREEN ROLLED BOWL
Background: Peacock & Rose (1928-1930's) Paden City Glass Manufacturing Company. Pieces come in amber, black, cobalt blue, blue, crystal (clear), green, pink, and red. From side to side the bowl measures 11" and approximately 3" tall, it has somewhat of a foot on the bottom of the bowl. As a reference, this piece was priced out in the Mauzy's Depression Glass 3rd Edition at $475. The first two pictures show the beautiful design and green color. The last two pictures show a small 1/8" ding in the bottom of the bowl and the very last picture shows two dime size flat areas which I believe to have been left when the bowl was made at the manufacturers. I know that when you blow glass marks are left where the glass was attached to the rod. Otherwise the bowl is in very good vintage condition with few problems and an occasional bubble in the glass. Please ask questions before the end of the auction - this is non-returnable with all things disclosed.
