On Hold Japanese Troops Train in Snow WWII News Photo Rare + Bonus!

Offered today from my personal collection of Japanese WWII photography is a lot of (2) rare news photos taken from a photo album purchased from a late Japanese officer`s estate. These are Yomiuri Shimbun News photos taken by war correspondents, & were used by the Japanese government in newspapers & magazines as propaganda during the years leading up to WWII and during the war. These are very rare & hard to come by, especially in this condition. Usually I would be selling these individually, but since they were found inside photo album & were glued in too well to remove from page, you will be getting a bonus photo on reverse side with the main featured photo. Yes, that is right, two historic WWII era photos for the very reasonable price of just one WWII News war photo! Images are very sharp and in very good condition for age! These would be a wonderful addition to any collection of WWII photography. Offered today at a very reasonable $8.00 and shipping by regular air(not insured) is just $5.00. I do offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases, so buy more & save! Any questions please contact Greg at gregphotos4u@aol.com.

The featured photo today is an interesting shot of Japanese combat troops training in the snow of Hokaido, Japan. Description states they spent two weeks doing this in preparation for combat deployment overseas, most likely to Manchuria. Release date of this photo is Showa 17.10.3. That would be 1942, Oct. 3rd. Keep in mind that the release date is when photo was deemed safe to print & publish. Actual event happened some weeks or maybe months beforehand! A great action war shot for your collection!

The reverse side bonus photo is a neat shot of a special Sunday meeting of the Tokyo Government Finance Ministry. Main speaker was Mr. Kaya, who later ended up in Sugamo Prison for War Crimes. Publish date was Showa 19.1.28, or 1944, Jan. 28th. Again, remember that the event happened sometime before approval, or publish date.
