This ACEO print is from my original watercolor titled "A Fortunate Sake Moment Beneath the Cherry Blossoms."
Most of my prints come with a small story, written at the time the original artwork is created. This is printed on the backs of the cards, along with the title of the piece and date it was created. They are hand signed and hand numbered. This is #4 and is an open edition.
The story for this artwork reads: "As the pink and gold cherry blossoms sway overhead, this Siamese Neko is enjoying a moment of solitude and reflection out on his bamboo patio, sitting upon his golden pillow while sipping a cup of sake from his blue and white china sake set."
This ACEO (which stands for Art Cards, Editions & Originals) measures the standard 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is laminated. I choose to laminate cards which are prints and don't include any hand enhancing or painting as it makes them far more durable, increasing their longevity, and enriches the colors.
This card was printed with a color laser printer on acid free cover stock. The ghosted watermark does not appear on the actual print.
