White milk glass compote in a tear drop / garland pattern by Indiana Glass in excellent Condition.
Indiana Glass produced this compote and marked the boxes with the name 'Garland'. Most collectors know the name as 'Tear Drop'. When the item was revived and marketed through Tiara it was called Decorator. These compotes were produced in numerous colors, this being milk glass or white. This is a wonderful vintage retro item to use in many places in the decor.
This heavy compote has a lovely scalloped edge and tear drops on the exterior. It has a little roughness on the inside of one of the scallops along the mold line, manufactured this way.
7 ½ inches tall and 7 ½ inches across the top.
No markings
This item is clean without stains / discoloration and ready to use. NO cracks, chips, flea bites or repairs.
