The fabric is listed as 100% wool. The fabric is a plaid, in brown tones. This jacket has not been worn. The pockets are still sewn shut, and the threads will need to be clipped out in order to use the pockets. The jacket has a notched collar. It buttons up the front, and is a single breasted style, with two attractive horse themed buttons. There are four toned buttons with the same design, on the back of each sleeve near the hemline. The jacket has one front chest pocket, and two front pockets with flaps over them. The jacket is fully lined. It has a center vent at the back hem. This is a very beautiful jacket. It appears to be very well made, and is very elegant and classy looking.
