The box says: Easy to crochet, no abbreviated instructions. The back of the box says that it includes everything to make an authentic ‘Kids afghan. It includes re-usable professional quality Mylar stencils, stencil paint, stencil brush, and 12-oz of 2 ply worsted 100% Remember acrylic yarn, the yarn that never forgets its shape, and is machine washable, allergy-free, and mothproof. The box says that it requires a size E crochet hook that is not included. The copyright date on this kit is 1984. I am not sure the age of this kit, but I would think there is a possibility that the paint included in the kit could be dried out. Replacement paint could be purchased of course, however, but please be aware that the stencil paint included in this kit could be dried out.
