This is a maxi length skirt. The approximate measurement of the skirt, measuring from the center back top of the waistband, to the hemline, is approximately 37 inches.
The permanent tag in the skirt says: Lucky Brand Dungarees by Gene Montesano. The label has the Lucky clover symbol on it. The size is listed as 4/27.
The fiber content is 100% cotton. The cotton is very soft, as this skirt has a prewashed look to it. The second permanent tag in the skirt says Lucky Brand, size 4/27, American Made.
There is a label on the back waistband of the skirt that says Lucky Brand Dungarees, and has a line up the side for the wearer to write their name on. The label has the Lucky clover symbol on it as well. There is another small Lucky clover symbol label on the back of the skirt, beneath the other label.
The skirt has an unusual style to it. It is a long skirt. The skirt top closes with a silver button, similar to the ones used in jeans. The button says Lucky Brand Jeans on it, and has the clover in the middle. The skirt has a button fly front, with three smaller silver buttons that have the same design as the larger one. There is also a navy tape with a clover at the top and bottom, that says Lucky You down it, in yellow embroidery.
The skirt has two front pockets. One of the front pockets has a key pocket in it, similar to the ones in jeans. The lining material of the pockets is imprinted with a clover design. There is darker shading on the skirt, on the front, and back in a triangle design. Where the back pockets would be are also shaded darker. I guess it is supposed to look as if the pockets were removed. Please note this skirt has no back pockets. The bottom of the hem has interesting shading on it. I think it is supposed to look as if the hem has been taken down.
This is a very well made skirt. It is very long. Holding it up to me, it goes down to the floor. I am 5’3”. The skirt could be hemmed into a shorter skirt if desired. Or, it could just be cut off to the desired length. The only problem with hemming this skirt is that the interesting bottom edge would be lost.
