1669 Antique Amethyst 8oz SB Shillings Extract Bottle

Up for your consideration is a interesting Schillings Extract bottle made sometime in the early 1900s. This was made with manganese dioxide which was a clearing agent used from 1885 to 1914 that turns purple when exposed to sunlight over a period of time. It measures 6.38" high. It is marked Schillings Co. 8 oz Net on the bottom and embossed on the front SB. At one time it held a cork that was used as a stopper. What a interesting piece to display in your home, show to your friends, give as a gift or collect. 

CONDITION: It comes to you in very good antique shape and is pretty clear with hardly any residue.  It has no cracks or chips. It does have some bubbles in the glass from when it was made.
