  1. What is eBluejay.com?

eBluejay is an advertising supported online marketplace. It is the 2nd generation of the original free marketplace blujay.com which has been online for 10 years. Aside from the $10 verification fee to open a store, there are NO recurring fees or Final Value Fees. Stores keep everything after their item sells.

  2. How do I contact a seller?

On the item page click on the tab next to the description that says "Ask a Question."

If you have made a purchase, you can contact the seller by viewing your "My Purchase History" and near the bottom of the invoice look for "Invoice Messaging." Click on the "Send a message to the seller" or "View the current message conversation" to send a message to the seller.

  6. How do I delete my items

There are 2 ways to delete your item. When logged in, view your item and click the "delete item" link just above the subject line. The second way is through the Inventory manager. Go to "Selling" -> "Inventory Manager" and click on the checkbox of the item you want to delete. Then at the top of the page select "Delete" from the drop down that labeled "Hold/Del." Click the confirmation dialog and your item(s) will be deleted.

  7. Why isn't my photo showing up after I select it for my item?

After selecting a photo you may need to wait up to 15 seconds per photo while it processes in your browser. When finished a small thumbnail photo will appear in the 24 photo grid. We recommend using Firefox or Chrome to manage your store. Mobile browsers are also supported. Disable any browser Ad Block plugin/extension as they might interfere with the photo processing.

  11. What about existing blujay sellers? What happens to their stores and how do they get on eBluejay?

Active blujay sellers in good standing will migrate over to eBluejay by submitting a request once eBluejay launches. Existing blujay sellers will not have to verify their store. We already know who you are and the community trusts you. Item listings, images, feedback and account settings will be included in the migration.

  12. What about the items on blujay? I know you said we'll migrate, but are the items removed from blujay?

blujay items that are migrated will have a redirect to their new home on eBluejay. That way any old links directly to your blujay item will lead to their new home on eBluejay.

  13. What happens to blujay.com after eBluejay is launched?

We want to focus our efforts onto eBluejay. That means blujay will be wound down and put into a redirect state. There will be a process; the lights won't go off unannounced one day. It'll probably start with not allowing registrations, then not allowing purchasing, then an indefinite holding period for maintenance of current invoices and migration. Sellers will be able to log into their stores during this period.

That said, there will be a period where both sites are running simultaneously.
